Berkeley High's Open House on April 25th, 2004 was an opportunity for all of Berkeley's students, kindergarten to middle school to see where they will spend their high school years. Following the ceremony at 1pm, the ribbon was cut at 1:30pm and the buildings were opened to the public. The rest of the afternoon included hands-on activities, sports, dance, music, and tours by student docents.
The ribbon cutting will open the doors to the new Administrative Wing, State of the Art Library, College/Career Counseling Center, Student Center/Cafeteria, Gymnasium, Dance Studios& Swimming Pool These buildings were made possible through the generosity of Berkeley taxpayers who voted for Bond Measures A & AA, which are responsible for rebuilding all of our public schools. << Principal Jim Slemp
